2. Read the chromatogram
HPLC separates detected components and reports relative peak area under stated test conditions. Review the method, retention information, integration, and result together; a single headline percentage does not establish identity.
3. Check molecular identity
Mass spectrometry compares observed mass-related signals with the expected molecular mass. It complements HPLC, but neither chart alone confirms quantity, sterility, endotoxin status, or fitness for a particular experiment.
